Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the MesinPDF app and its related services ("the Service"), provided by Sigarda, Surabaya, Indonesia ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MesinPDF lets you scan documents, view, edit, sign, stamp, merge, split, compress, organise and print PDFs, recognise text (OCR), fill forms, and open, edit and convert Word and Excel files to PDF. Most features run on your device. Some features need an account, an internet connection, or a paid plan. We may add, change or remove features.

2. Your account

  • You may sign in with Google or with email and password. Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian where the law requires it.
  • We may suspend or block an account that breaks these Terms, misuses the Service, or puts others at risk.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile › Delete account).

3. Your documents

  • Your files remain yours. We claim no rights over them, and they are processed on your device unless you choose to sync or share them (see the Privacy Policy).
  • You are responsible for the documents you create, edit, sign or share, and for having the right to do so.
  • A signature or stamp you place with MesinPDF is an image on the page. It is not a certified electronic signature and does not replace a certified electronic signature or e-Meterai where the law requires one. Editing a document that carries a certified digital signature makes that signature invalid; the app warns you when it detects one.
  • Conversions and edits (for example Word or Excel to PDF, compression, OCR) may not reproduce the original exactly. Check the result and keep a copy of your original before relying on it.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • forge, falsify or alter documents, signatures or stamps to deceive anyone, or commit fraud;
  • break the law or infringe the rights of others, including copyright and privacy;
  • attack, overload, scrape or interfere with our servers or other users;
  • copy, modify, decompile or resell the app, except where the law allows it, or bypass its limits, ads or payments.

5. Plans, trials and payments

  • Some features need a paid plan. The price, period and features of each plan are shown in the app before you buy. Prices are in Indonesian rupiah unless shown otherwise.
  • A free trial gives access to premium features for the period shown. When it ends, premium features stop unless you buy a plan.
  • Payments are handled by our payment partner or Google Play, under their terms. Refunds follow the law that applies and, for Google Play purchases, Google Play's refund policy.
  • Promo codes are subject to the conditions shown with them, can be used once per account unless stated, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn if misused.

6. Ads and third-party services

The free version shows ads (Google AdMob). Some features use third-party services such as Google Sign-In, Google Drive and Google Play, which are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Our rights

The app, its name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these Terms.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be exact. Keep backups of important documents.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, documents, profit or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending use

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, or stop offering the Service with reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 3, 8, 9 and 11) continue to apply.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will first try to resolve any dispute with you amicably; if that fails, disputes are settled by the competent courts of Indonesia.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and tell you in the app when changes are significant. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
